What Photos to Send for a House, Driveway and Patio Quote
A good set of photos gets you an accurate quote faster and avoids surprises on the day. You don't need many — you need the right ones.
One wide shot per surface
Step back far enough to get the whole driveway, each side of the house and the whole patio in frame. That shows size and layout.
Close-ups of problems
Get close to stains, green growth, peeling coating or damaged areas. Put a shoe or hand in the shot for scale.
Access and surroundings
Photograph gates, side yards, tight spots, flower beds against the house and anything fragile near the work area.
What to write with them
Your street address, which surfaces you want included, anything painted or previously sealed, and any deadline such as an HOA notice or listing photos.
What you can try yourself
- Shoot in daylight, not at dusk
- Take photos when surfaces are dry so stains show
- Label photos by surface if you can
