What Affects the Cost of House Washing
House washing is usually priced by the size of the home, then adjusted for what's on the walls and how easy they are to reach.
Home size and height
A single-story ranch is quicker and safer to wash than a three-story home on a slope. Height also changes the equipment needed for soft washing the upper walls.
Siding material
Vinyl and Hardie board soft wash well. Brick, stone and stucco can hold more organic growth and may need longer dwell times. Painted wood needs extra care so paint isn't lifted.
Growth and extras
Light pollen film is fast. Heavy black mildew on a shaded north wall takes more solution and time. Gutter faces, porches, soffits and windows can be added on.
